Davos Instruments and the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) have installed and sucessfully commissioned a new control system for the AHF reference radiometer at KNMI headquarter in De Bilt.
The system is based on the 2024 installation at the Deutsche Wetterdienst (DWD) in Lindenberg. It consists of a CR1000Xe Datalogger from Campbell Scientific and specific peripherals to control and read out the AHF radiometer. The whole setup has been arranged in a small transport case for ease of travel.
